The M80i two-way compact line-array loudspeaker is part of WorxAudio Technologies' TrueLine series. It incorporates a medium format, 1-inch exit compression driver coupled to a stabilized proprietary wave-shaping device to deliver high frequencies over a predictable, controlled coverage area, the company says. Dual 8-inch cone transducers, plus the company's Acoustic Intergrading Module, aims to minimize cone filtering throughout the loudspeaker's 300 Hz to 18 kHz range. A multilayered, catalyzed polyurethane finish protects the enclosure, while a 16-gauge, perforated, cloth-backed, powder-coated steel grill with a high transmission ratio protects the transducer complement.
AKG Acoustics offers the WMS 450 wireless system with its C 5, D 5, and C 555 MicroMic microphones. Keeping houses of worship and conference venues in mind, the WMS 450 boasts easy operation with auto setup of up to 12 channels per frequency band and a programmable status display with a two-color backlight. The system includes the SR 450 stationary receiver, the HT 450 handheld transmitter, and the PT 450 pocket transmitter. The system is available in five packages; all are compatible with the CU 400 charging unit.
